How to get to Pärnu?
You can get to Pärnu by bus or car, and the city also has a small cruise port.
Pärnu is conveniently located just 1.5 hours by car from Estonia’s capital Tallinn and about 2 hours by car from Latvia’s capital Riga, both of which have international airports. There are also good bus connections from cities across Estonia to Pärnu.
Tallinn airport
Estonia’s largest airport, Tallinn Airport, is located 4 km from Tallinn city center.
The airport serves around 40 international routes.

Riga Airport is located 13 km from Riga city center and is the largest airport in the Baltics. The airport serves up to 8 million passengers per year and offers connections to around 80 international destinations. Riga Airport is located 190 km from Pärnu.

If you’re arriving by bus
Pärnu Bus Station is served by international buses from several European cities, including Riga and Vilnius. There are also regular bus connections between different regions within Pärnu County.
You can reach Pärnu directly from Tallinn Bus Station by bus. Buses between Tallinn and Pärnu run every 30 to 60 minutes. You can buy a Lux Express bus ticket here, and find routes from other bus companies here.
If you’re arriving by car
Car rental options are available at both Tallinn and Riga airports, as well as in most major cities across Estonia, including Pärnu.

Where to stay in Pärnu?

Where to eat in Pärnu?
Where should you go to eat? Many locals would say you haven’t really visited Pärnu until you’ve been to Steffani. It’s a legendary and much-loved pizza restaurant right in the heart of the city. Even if some of your friends aren’t into pizza, you’ll still find plenty of other tasty options there. We highly recommend it.
